Addressing Colonial Trauma Through Mi'kmaw Film Representation Mi’kmaw directors represent land, language, violence, and gender/sexuality in ways that address intergenerational colonial trauma and support cultural survival. We conducted interviews with three Mi’kmaw directors (Jeff Barnaby, Bretten Hannam, and Cathy Martin), and critically analyzed their films, Rhymes For Young Ghouls, North Mountain, and The Spirit of Annie Mae.

The cards you are dealt: Stories of labeled men Participatory Action Research is a viable method to facilitate Occupational Therapy (OT) groups, promote self-growth in group members and address research gaps pertaining to the role of OT in the community. A Photovoice project with men transitioning into the community post-incarceration will be the focus of this presentation.
